When: September 12th, 2010
Registration: 9 a.m. or pre-register on Saturday

Format: 18, break, 18

In 2009, 19 aces were recorded. 205 days into the year we have 21 recorded aces at 6 different courses. 14 of the 21 aces have been at Westchester Lagoon. 7 of the 14 aces at WCL are on basket number 3.

2010 "Best in Alaska" Point Series (Open Division Only)
This series will include four tournaments:
*Alaska Disc Golf Championships (AKDGC) 7/10-7/11
King of the Bowl 7/31-8/1
Tall Grass Open (Homer) 8/28-8/29
Season Finale 10/2-10/3
*Player’s must attend the AKDGC to be eligible to win the series.
How the points will be awarded:
Only players in the open division will receive points.

Points will be awarded based on place of finish (example: If there are 10 people in the open division the first place finisher would receive 10 points, second would receive 9 points, and 10th place would receive 1 point).

The AKDGC will be double weighted meaning the points from this tournament will be multiplied by 2.

The final point total for each player will be based on his or her top 3 tournament scores.

In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker will be best finish at the AKDGC.
Qualifications:
To be eligible to win this point series, players must play in a minimum of 3 tournaments including the AKDGC.

Players must also be current ADGA and PDGA members.
Prizes:
The winner of the point series will be awarded the 2011 USDGC Bid

The winner will also receive a bag tag and/or disc trophy

Prizes will be awarded at the Season Finale
Standings:
The State coordinator will keep track of the points and standings throughout the year.

Details and current standings for this 2010 "Best in Alaska" Point Series will be posted on the ADGA web site and will be included in the player's meeting at each tournament.
